My book has been published

Here is the link, if you wish to check it out-

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FA5PKJQ

Like I said, it is a Western e-book. I signed up for the Kindle Select Program and that means that Amazon has it exclusively for three months.  After that I can upload it to Smash Words and they will make it available at Barnes & Noble, , iTunes,, the Sony store, and a few others, I think.
.There is not just a whole lot of action until about chapter 5, that's when it really get started.. But check it out if you wish., and if you read it and like it, please leave a review.

  1. It's only fair to warn you I'm a big Louis L'amour fan so the bar has been set high :-)

  2. Well, I bought it. Hope you get at least a couple'o bucks for your trouble.

I don't have a kindle (nor do I want one) and not a fan of the cloud reader thingy but it's all I got.

  3. Hmm, in chapter 7 he has boots again. Maybe he took them from one of the dead pioneers and I missed it.

Still good though, really enjoying it so far.

  4. Uhoh. I will have to check that out and see if I made a mistake. I know what you mean about Louis l'Amour, he's my favorite Western author also. And thanks for your purchase. When you get finished with it, if you like it then how about leaving a review? And if you don't like it, how about dropping me a note and telling me what was wrong with it so that I can do better next time?

  5. It just says he took his boots off to massage his sore feet, no biggie.

It was good, and I'm not saying that just because it's your blog ;-) I think you almost could have got two books out of that, the homecoming seems like it had enough material (though some of it was a bit soppy for my liking - no offence intended!)

Since Tom's adventuring days are over I guess you'll have to make up a new character. Keep the new guy away from the ladies (brief encounters are acceptable) :-)

  6. You're right. I made a mistake. I must've read through that thing a dozen times checking and correcting things, but I skipped right over that. Good catch. I'm glad you liked it. And who said toms adventuring days are over? You never know, one of these days he might feel like going back and checking out that cannon a little more.

  7. Somewhere in there is a backslash at the end of a line too, no big deal though.

Well I kinda figured it just wouldn't be right for Tom to go off galavanting around the west with a wife and 3 kids depending on him.

  8. Yeah, my book file looked fine, but when I uploaded it to Amazon and it converted it, for some reason on one of the paragraphs in chapter 8, it added a \ at the end of it, and then in chapter 16 it screwed up a couple lines of text. I don't know why, but it did it.
